Dr Arifa Khan is an obstetrician and gynaecologist. After graduating with a degree in medicine and surgery, Dr Khan undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Westmead Public Hospital in Sydney. While pursuing her special interest she was the fellow in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Sydney West Area Health Service.

Dr Khan was awarded a travelling scholarship in 2003, which enabled her to train in minimally invasive surgery techniques at world-renowned centres in France and Italy. She then spent a year gaining further valuable experience working in the UK.

Dr Khan's major areas of interest are the treatment of endometriosis, as well as assisted reproductive treatments. She practices at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and Westmead Public Hospital.
