A snapshot of success

To give patients a picture of how effective our treatment can be, we’ve taken a snapshot of all women who began treatment with us over a two year period and looked at how things have worked out for them to date.

The graph below shows the extraordinary results. Blue bars represent the percentage of women who gave birth following treatment - an incredible 65 to 72% of women in their early thirties, and still nearly 30% in the 40-43 year-old group.

Note that quite a number of patients are still undergoing treatment or are currently pregnant, so these results will continue to improve.

Results happen fast too. We’ve all heard stories of patients who have gone back again and again for IVF treatment. The pink bars show that of the Sydney IVF patients who had children, nearly all did so within three stimulated cycles - and that’s across all age groups.

Comparing clinics

Often we see patients after a number of unsuccessful or unsatisfying treatments elsewhere. Around 1-in-6 of our patients try treatment at another clinic before coming to us.

Our data shows that of all patients who underwent treatment elsewhere and then came to Sydney IVF, 45% had a baby under our care, and all except one of them did so within three stimulated cycles.

For patients under 36 who came from other clinics, the success rate was 62%.

Women who have experience at other clinics also comment regularly about the higher quality of care at Sydney IVF. A high ratio of nurses to patients means you have a dedicated team ready to offer information, support and advice when you need it. You will also have your own doctor for all your procedures (unless unforeseen circumstances arise).
