Dr Susan Winspear did her medical training in Sydney and spent several years on the Central Coast. She did her specialist training at John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, and completed a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound. She spent 12 months working in the Northern Territory, including extensive remote and aboriginal gynaecology.

Dr Winspear is in private practice in Launceston and her practice includes obstetrics, gynaecology and colposcopy, ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis and IVF.
