After graduating from the University of New South Wales, Dr Taylor completed his post-graduate specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the St George Hospital in Sydney. After two years of specialist training in London he moved to Lismore on the North Coast of NSW.

Sydney IVF Lismore was established within Lismore Private Day Surgery with Dr Taylor being the Medical Director of the unit.

Dr Taylor has a general obstetric/gynaecology practice at 79 Uralba Street with Visiting Medical Officer appointments at Lismore Private Day Surgery, Lismore Base Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital, Lismore.

Besides general obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Taylor has special interest in minimally invasive surgery techniques (laparoscopic surgery), assisted reproductive techniques, urodynamics and gynaecological/urological surgery.
