Dr David Greening did his medical training in New Zealand before moving to Australia in 1991. In Australia he spent some years in the outback as a GP including two years as a Royal Flying Doctor in Broken Hill. His specialist Obstetric and Gynaecology training was at the Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne before travelling to Dublin, Ireland and the prestigious Hammersmith IVF unit in London for further studies in reproductive medicine.

Dr Greening has completed his certificate in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (CREI) with the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. In addition he has completed a Master of Bioethics at Monash University, ethics being one of his special interests. As well as IVF for infertility, David has a principal involvement with the SIVF Miscarriage Management clinic.

Dr Greening is in private practice in Wollongong, with VMO appointments at The Wollongong Hospital, Wollongong Day Surgery and the Illawarra Private Hospital. While most of his interest is in reproductive medicine David also has a private obstetric practice and sees general gynaecology patients. David is also the current representative for CREI trainees in Australasia.
