Our staff comprises professionals with different backgrounds and expertise and we endeavour to work closely as a team so we can maximise the service provided to you.

We aim to give you the best possible chance of having a normal healthy baby of your own, while going through only as many stimulated cycles as are absolutely necessary. Assisted conception can involve powerful medical treatments, so we try to minimise their impact on your life wherever we can.

Accreditation and qualifications

Sydney IVF Canberra has the maximum (three year) accreditation by the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee of the Fertility Society of Australia (RTAC) and the International Quality Assurance System ISO-9000.

Sydney IVF Canberra has the capability and infrastructure to maximise the provision of service, meld the scientific knowledge, and access the outcomes of research and development being conducted through Sydney IVF, to maximise your chances of a pregnancy.

At Sydney IVF Canberra we have all services available at the one venue. Our laboratories use the latest technology for IVF, sperm function testing and specialised IVF procedures such as ICSI and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). Sperm and embryo banking is also available.

Not all pharmacies carried all the medications needed for IVF. Three that do are:

Ultrasounds and blood tests

Sydney IVF Canberra has a fully equipped ultrasound suite with state-of-the-art equipment. You will need to make an appointment by calling 6260 3400.

Your nurse coordinator is available take blood for your blood tests between 7.30 and 8.45 on weekdays. Ultrasound and blood tests are available at the clinic on weekends, but you will need to make an appointment.

If it inconvenient to visit the clinic in the morning, you can also have your blood test at the following Healthscope Pathology:
